Flexible capabilities for inbound and outbound integration processes

Connectivity

ERP integrations

Aico integrates to all major ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics. Aico is able to handle multiple ERPs and even accounting concepts simultaneously in a single instance of Aico. This makes management easy and guarantees low TCO (total cost of ownership) over time. Aico also supports change management, such as migration from one ERP to another or organisational changes. Aico supports generic service APIs (SOAP or REST) and is able to use a great variety of native clients from different ERP vendors.

API integrations

For high-volume document inbound integration purposes, we have the Staging API. In addition to traditional outbound system integration, we also offer a BI API that can be used for reading processes from the Aico system and a Process Mining API for compliance and efficiency metrics.

Validation framework

The ability to validate user inputs is one of the core functionalities of Aico. Through the validation API the system is able to consume, for example, code combination validation services and check values or financial periods from external systems. Aico can also run internal validation processes to improve content quality and to guide users to improve the input.

Value sets for application menus

Aico supports online-connected and locally stored value sets that are used in menus and selections. For locally managed value sets, there are two maintenance options: importing value set data from an external system using the Value Set web service API or keeping the records through Aico System Manager’s maintenance interface. System Manager also allows exporting to and importing from Microsoft Excel, making the maintenance process more fluent.

RPA interoperability

Aico can command and orchestrate RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes or receive instructions from RPA. There are multiple ways to integrate with RPA depending the solution you are running.
